The major materials of the high-flow filter cartridge in the market are PP, PES, PTFE, PVDF and Nylon. Filter cartridges with different materials are applied to different filtration scenes. A short description of each material and its features are as follows.
PP membrane features:
With small pressure drop, strong dirt-holding capacity, wide chemical compatibility, and low cost. It can be used for different kinds of mid and high-efficiency filtration and pre-filtration of water treatment. Between the rate range of 0.1um to 60um, the filter end cap and body are connected by hot melt, and there are three kinds of connections, type 222, type 226, and flat. We will fully and strictly check the product to make sure its stable performance which interests the customers a lot.
PES membrane features:
Excellent performance under high temperature, resistant acid and alkali, Hydrophilic, high flow rate and aperture even distribution. Every piece will be washed with high-purity water, mainly used in terminal filtration of medical and biology.
PTFE pleated membrane filter features:
Nature Hydrophobic performance, absolute removing bacteria under wet and dry conditions, high gas flux, resistant high temperature and corrosion. Normally used for aseptic air intake filtration and high-purity gas filtration with high requirements.
PVDF pleated membrane filter features:
Oxidation resistance, suitable for Ozone resistant disinfection. Normally used for chemical liquid filtration.
Nylon membrane features:
As the hydrophilic film of nylon membrane, no need for pre-wet, high strength, and stable filtration rate. Normally used for medical liquid filtration and high-purity liquid filtration.

Its low-pressure drop and wide chemical compatibility make it used in industries like Pharmaceutical, food, beverage, beer and chemicals. For example, aseptic raw materials in the pharmaceutical industry, beverage, white wine and fruit wine filtration in the food industry, organic solvents, alcohols and chemical filtration in the chemical industry.
